Not All Bread is Created Equal

So many time I have seen others linger in the bread aisle as I have confounded by the various choices that range from slice size, grain content to price. It isn't often you find a bread that really stands out from the rest. Something that is incredibly healthy but also very tasty and large enough of a slice to make a great piece of toast so you only want one piece and not two. I was asked to check out Oroweat Products, through Bzz Jono, which consist of other names such as Brownberry and Arnolds. I opted for Arnolds 100% Whole Wheat which looked like your same old whole wheat sandwich loaf. What I got was an incredibly soft piece of whole grain bread with a slightly sweet finish to it. My kids loved their peanut butter and jelly on the soft bread. They always complain that the whole wheat bread I buy is too dry and hard. I also purchased the Brownberry 100% Whole Grain Wheat. That I used for a wonderful piece of toast that was crisp on the edges and outside yet tender on the inside and toasted perfectly. It had a nice grainy texture but was soft and not dry. There is also NO High Fructose Corn Syrup which I am desperately trying to avoid in all my food. So, obviously when I run out of bread, we will be purchasing Brownberry or Arnolds in the future!
